To achieve simplicity and reliability, the Discovery 67 has a rig that a couple can handle with ease in a wide range of conditions and sailing angles. With electric roller furling on all the sails and electric winches as standard, the boat is self-tacking, easy to reef, and is effortless on a reach or run. There is a choice of either central wheel, or twin wheel layouts. At the helm, everything comes naturally to hand. This is a cruising yacht you can genuinely handle on your own – all from the safety of the cockpit.

The immensely strong Bergstrom and Ridder (B&R) rig with its sweptback spreaders means that there are no running backstays to worry about.

The carefully sculptured cockpit feels deep and safe. It is huge – a truly magnificent place for entertaining. The twin wheel variant offers a clear walkway through to the transom.

The clear side decks with their raised gunwales and high stanchions feel safe and uncluttered. At the bow two comfortable “dolphin watching” seats enhance your pleasure – as do the wake watching seats aft.
