Ten years ago, the Discovery 55 set the benchmark as the perfect short-handed luxury cruising yacht. Building on feedback from over 40 owners, Discovery Yachts unveiled their exceptional new yacht, the Discovery 57, at the Southampton Boatshow in 2012. This impressive new model retains all of the great design features but with more space and stunning new styling. With a clear ambition to create the ultimate short-handed cruising yacht, the new 57 bears all the hallmarks of a Discovery: designed for performance, built for safety, equipped for luxury and defined by quality.
With the core design again determined by Ron Holland, our in-house design and production teams have reviewed every detail of the new yacht design to ensure that this is the creation of a new classic. The interior is designed by Ken Frievokh, and the structure is engineered by High Modulus.
Discovery Yachts is a company in pursuit of perfection and nowhere is this more evident than in the design and construction of the new Discovery 57.
